NUGA FISU Ambassador ThankGod Chibuike Nnamoko Drives Sports Leadership and Development
ThankGod Chibuike Nnamoko, a student of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University demonstrated his passion for university sports at the 27th edition of the Nigerian University Games held at the University of Jos, earning recognition as a standout contributor within the student and leadership space.
A dedicated sports enthusiast, ThankGod actively worked during the Games as a student sport leader and volunteer, bringing his love for the NUGA Games and experience. His involvement reflected not just interest, but a deeper commitment to the growth and development of university sports.
Beyond participation, his journey in sports has been defined by leadership and impact. As a two time elected Students Union Government Director of Sports, he played a significant role in strengthening sports structure, improving athlete welfare, and driving student engagement across campus. His tenure saw the successful organisation of key sporting events, including the SUG Campus Super Cup, SWEPP Cup, and Chess Championship, all of which contributed to a more vibrant and competitive sporting environment within ATBU.
At the national level, ThankGod extended his influence by organising the NUGA Leadership Summit at the 27th NUGA Games, creating a platform for dialogue, capacity building, and the advancement of university sports leadership. His contributions reflect a strong commitment to building systems that go beyond participation and focus on long term development.
Recognised for his dedication and leadership, he currently serves as a NUGA FISU Student Ambassador for the 2025 to 2026 cycle, where he continues to bridge local impact with global university sports engagement.
