The newly elected executive committee were yesterday inaugurated in Abuja. This was done during the General Assembly of the committee of vice chancellor of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU). At an election held during the 26th NUGA Games in March, Mr Emeka Ogbu emerged as the new president of the association. Mr. Ogbu is the director of Sports at the Enugu State University of science and technology (ESUT). He has served in the NUGA council for 19 years and brings a wealth of experience and ambition to the new office. I am so honored to be elected president of NUGA, my team and I will work towards taking the association to the next level and to bring the best to Nigerian students which will bring the best out of them . Niger Delta University Chairman Sports council EX- OFFICIAL Prof. Stephen Hamfyelto, University of Maiduguri - Former Sports Director Prof. Abdulrasheed.O. Ojutiku - Federal University of Minna, Niger State Chairman of Sports Lawal Surajudeen Akorede - Adekunle Ajasin Univeristy, Akuujba - Ag. Director of Sports Yunusa Madi Bazza - Adamawa State University, Mubi - Director of Sports The Committee will serve a 4 year term 2022-2026.
