Journalists and other media representatives who want to cover the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games can now register. Applications are being accepted for working media accreditation. The Chengdu 2021 FISU Games will take place from 28 July to 8 August and student-athletes will compete in 18 sports, for a total of 269 medals. Applications for Media Accreditation will be accepted only from registered media, photographers, bloggers (minimum following of 10,000 subscribers), and media from sports institutions. Freelance photographers must submit a letter on company letterhead detailing actual assignment(s) from the assigning editor with his/her contact information for Media Accreditation consideration. If preferred, media accreditation for large teams can be completed by a team manager who can collect all information from his/her team and submit individual entries on their behalf. To be able to receive the VISA in time, all accreditation applications for Chengdu 2021 FISU Games must be completed by Tuesday 20 June 2023. Each approved applicant will receive an email for confirmation before 10 July 2023, including media service information. Once an application is approved, the applicant will receive an email with invitation letter from the Chengdu 2021 Executive Committee to support his/her VISA application. Please review the full advisory for all the details on the application process and for information on hotel reservations. To facilitate the customs clearance for accredited media of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, the Organising Committee has released the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games Customs and Freight Forwarding Guide.
