I am writing to express my profound gratitude for the incredible opportunity to serve as the Student Ambassador to the International University Sports Federation (FISU) under the auspices of the Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA) for the past three years. It has been an honor and a privilege to represent NUGA on the international stage and contribute to the development of university sports in our great nation. During my tenure as Student Ambassador, I have gained invaluable experience in various aspects of university sports, which have enriched my personal growth and deepened my commitment to promoting sports and education. Specifically, I have had the privilege of engaging in volunteer management, sports event organization, and university sports advocacy, which have broadened my horizons and provided me with skills and insights that will undoubtedly serve me well in my future endeavors. As I step down from my role as Student Ambassador, it is my hope that NUGA will continue to expand its efforts in nurturing the talents of young athletes, propagating the volunteer culture existing in our universities, and developing the nation’s Unisport movement. Lastly, I extend my best wishes to the new student ambassadors who will assume their roles. I have complete confidence that they will carry the torch forward with dedication, passion, and a commitment to the ideals of NUGA. May they find their journey as rewarding and transformative as I have, and may they contribute significantly to the further development of university sports in Nigeria. Once again, thank you, NUGA, for the extraordinary opportunity to serve as your student ambassador to FISU.
