BOS Institute Africa Launches Chief Olumide Oniru Scholarship for Sports Business Excellence
The Business of Sports Institute Africa BOS has announced the launch of the Chief Olumide Solomon Oniru Scholarship for Sports Business Excellence, a strategic initiative aimed at developing capacity and leadership within Africaâs rapidly growing sports industry.
The scholarship, established in partnership with BOS Institute Africa, will provide ten fully funded opportunities annually for emerging professionals across the continent. Beneficiaries will gain access to the Sports Business Administration Essentials Course, a comprehensive programme designed to equip participants with the technical knowledge, industry insight, and practical skills required to succeed in sports administration and management.
The course offers a well rounded curriculum covering key areas such as sports administration fundamentals, stakeholder management, brand identity and intellectual property in sports, sponsorship and marketing, safeguarding, social media and content development, leadership, and financial management. This structure reflects a deliberate effort to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application within the African sports ecosystem.
This initiative underscores the long standing commitment of Chief Olumide Solomon Oniru to leadership development and capacity building across the sports, creative, and tourism sectors.
